Adolph Hitler was thought by many to be a clown, just a passing fancy, in no way any kind of threat. Well, the world learned otherwise after he invaded Poland., starting WW2. In all, we all know that 50m people died and milions more wounded. Entire countries were devestated. Hitler's hatred knew no bounds. He fought a total war against mankind. His "New World Order" would, had it succeeded killed off hundreds of millions more, including every Jew, most of the Russians, Slavs, gypsies, the black race, and everyone considered "Sub races" by NAZI theology. He even thought of himself as the new messiah. That said, how should we view Iran? Are the mullahs and President comics? Can they really be serious? Would Iranians really allow it's military to hit Tel Aviv with WMD? Isn't the current President of Iran just huffing and puffing his nonsense to appease the hard liners and placate the mullah leadership. We can ask ourselves, is he just pandering to the crowd (the street) so to speak? Can anyone take his threats seriously. Well, I for one do. Do we want a world with these religious fanatics having such a capability? Should we allow these insane leaders to hold over US all, the threat of the ultimate destruction? Do we want New York and other major cities in the US, and elsewhere, held hostage by the wannabe Hitlers? Can we afford to have surrogate militias and groups (Hezbollah, Al Qaeda), holding such a lethal sword over all our heads, if we don't adhere to their demands? The two Senators of New York should think about the consequences of not acting soon, while there is still time. I ask, what if we use bunker busters, smart bombs, cruise missiles against their installations, so what? All the Russian anti-aircraft missiles supplied to Iran recently, won't deter this weaponry. So what's to lose? The next President may have to make this hard decision? Hillary seems to be indecisive and balking at what she in her heart knows the eventuality. Perhaps if the decision was made in 1933 to take out Hitler and his thugs, we would never have had the Second World War. Hillary and Joe Lieberman were for getting rid of Saddam's rule over 25 brualized people. I applauded her decision. I hope she finds the same courage now with a much deadlier foe.
