I seriously don't get how everyone repeats the mantra that Daniels got fleeced in the Lee trade. Yes, he got absolutely killed in the Chris Young trade. That one was so bad that maybe he deserves having a good trade labeled bad.

But, if Cordero was such a loss, how is that the Rangers actually have the 3rd best bullpen ERA in the majors? Do you actually think they would have been better off with Cordero than Gagne, and the 3 players obtained for him in trade? Cordero proved to be a very easily replaceable asset, and Daniels got fair value in the trade.

I make that trade every day and twice on Sundays.
