Libel Suit Leads to Destruction of Books

This book is still available online as an e-book from sites such as Mobibooks.com, which is apparently owned by Amazon. I suspect that e-books will also have to be withdrawn, though I have heard no word on that. I think the author's should release the book online covertly. They can make a torrent of it, which is a file-sharing format, put it out on the web, and just let it float, perhaps forever. I doubt that they can make any money over it, since Cambridge owns the publishing rights, and I doubt another publisher would take it. Self-published on the web would work, but that wouldn't make them any money really and they could still be sued for libel anyway, though I don't think it would matter much, since they aren't in the UK, like Cambridge is, so they could do that. But, I don't think it will happen. In any case, there is nothing preventing a person from either somehow hacking the e-book or print screening the hell out of it and putting the pictures on the web. Ditto for someone scanning the book. I suspect this book will be on the web somewhere, in some form, for a very long time.
