This is a strange article.

The author praises one new/fresh thing in the past season of the NYSF, "Passing Strange," then trumpets work by Nelson, Shepard and the Wooster Group -- all quality artists, but the careers of Nelson, Lecompte and Shepard began about 30, 35 and 40 years ago respectively. It is nice that they are getting shows at the Public, but these folks have CV's that can, and do, get them produced in lots of places. Where is the new?
