\He is black no matter how you slice it. The African, Haitian and other cab drivers of color very well maybe prejudice against American blacks. I hope both of you remember your statements the next time a taxi won't stop for you. Further, if it is the case that taxi's refuse to stop for black males, explain why they won't stop for black females such as myself, standing in the rain on 90th Street and Broadway trying to get to Columbia University where I am a student and an employee for a very high-ranking administrator. On top of that I usually have my 6-year old son in tow. Are perpetuators of the crimes against cabbies also hardworking black females with children headed uptown?
