Only the naive should be surprised. Baker, like Powell and so many others in the SD, has been the pay of the Muslims for decades. And why should the Bush admin listen to us "smarter Jews"? Because we send money to the RJC? The RJC said nothing before or after the expulsion of Jews from Gaza. How many of you who push America to support Israel against all terrorists have also helped this administration on nominating conservative judges, or 2nd amendment issues, slowing down abortion on demand, drill everywhere/energy independence, lowering taxes and privatizing SS? What have you even given back to our only real gentile friends, the RW Christians? How many of you have ever helped them fight for prayer at a football game, or written a letter to the editor with your support for a public nativity scene (where we get a pass for Chanukah...) Don't be surprised that Pres. Bush waffles on Israel's security... HE HAS NO MANDATE TO DO OTHERWISE. The left (jinos included) runs the media and the schools, and all we scream about Israel. Do any of you really think we can influence America to completely stand with Israel by just shouting "but it will be good for America also!"?
