Stage Call for Thompson

I think it is more important as to what Fred Thompson stands for, and that is categorized as a grassroot conservative-federalist; meaning that he truly believes in upholding and protecting the Constitution and the rights of the American people against those who would alter it, defile it or abuse it.

That and other issues he approaches makes him a viable candidate to me - not the way he operates his campaign nor the politcal party grandstanding one ssee in the other primary candidates.

While there are those who compare Mr. Thompson to Ronald Reagan, he personally has never alluded this other than his respect for the former President. What is important is his voting record, his personal character and the fact that he was in the acting profession is not revelent. However, it is revelent concerning his lobbying efforts that he obtained financial returns, although there are other members of Congress with a record of such activities either formally or presently serving in the United States Congress. This presents some issues of conflict and other than that, Fred Thompson should be considered a viable candidae who has previously stood up for principles and accurate stances on issues even standing alone with a 99 to 1 vote. This demonstrates his character.

Maybe Mr. Thompson's campaign isn't being run according to your standards, but when it comes to the issues at hand and what a President is expected to do or how a President must enact - is the most important issue at hand, not the campaign. Of course, success if the goal of a campaign, and maybe Mr. Thompson should consider changing his campaign "handlers" if this is so important to this media entity and/or the general voting public.
