Report: Principal Tried ‘Magic' To Cure School

Submitted by Dee Tanner, Aug 8, 2007 08:25

Give credit for this Principal wanting all positive energy going towards the school on every level. The traditions she used are not new to the homes of some of the children within the student body where she works. However, part of what makes this ceremony poweful is that it comes from the community: a number of individuals that participate together to recognize the renewal for a positive school year. As this is a public area -the practitioners involved should be compensated somehow- but not with school funds. I would have to examine her full record as a principal - as well as all financial records to determine if she should be let go. If indeed this is an isolated incident - then I think she should be allowed to continue within the school system. If it is not an isolated incident, then she should pay the $900 back to the school system and be served the chicken for dinner.
