Remember the Seven Years War

The Seven Years War (called the French and Indian War in American textbooks) wasn't even seventeen years before our War for Independence from our English masters. Hardly time to force the American people to Parlez Français before the birth of this nation. I believe it was our oldest ally, France, that tipped the balance in our favor during that conflict. Methinks that both Mr. Daniel Johnson and President George III should actually read some history, they might find it enlightening.
