In the old days no one would be suggesting things like taking an admission ticket and bus ride from Romney and voting for Paul because everything was controlled tightly and centrally by each candidate.

In a modern internet campaign that uses the synergy the internet makes possible, one will get exuberrant supporters saying things that a candidate wishes they had not. But we live in a free country and people are entitled to their opinions no matter how unethical. Just do not blame the candidate or confuse the candidate with his supporter.

This confusuion has fooled many other reporters across the country. Unless they are really not confused and know better and are just using the exuberrant supporter as an opportunity to do a hit piece on a candidate. It is sometimes hard to distinguish reporter incompetence from maliciousness.

So for those who do not know:

"I am a supporter NOT a paid staff member of the Paul campaign AND only I support this message!!"
