How can the case workers be held entirely responsible, when they have to be so overwhelmed by their work load? Perhaps the people in charge of this welfare mess should research the big picture! What can we expect when every low life in NYS knows they can have a free ride? These creeps don't care about their children to begin with. This is not likely happening in welfare homes of people who truly need assistance. The creeps that do this kind of thing to children, only use their children as a means to get more freebies for themselves! The system has become totally out of control. New people in every county in NYS are accepted on the welfare rolls every day! How many new case workers have been hired to cover the overload? Let's try tofix the major problem. Either change the system to get rid of people who won't work for their living, or hire enough people to do the job the best way. Perhaps these people throwing the "blame stones" could get the monies from our overpaid,do nothing good, politicians with the gigantic pention funds to donate to the cause!
