I read with great interest the findings of this report. I wholehartedly agree with it. I am a product of one of the NYC vocational high schools, Aviation, class of 1970. At that time the quality of the education and the high standards were superb. The training I received formed a solid basis for my personal growth. It was instrumental in my seeking continued education and made me a believer in the worth of vocational training programs. I am currently a school director of a for profit-career vocational school. I have completed AS, BS and MS degrees. I thank the NYC public school system for my sucess.
