When ‘Moneyball' Stops Working

The Oakland A's are still one of the best values in sports. If you look at this season, the A's have actually outscored their opponents. Barring their injuries, the A's would be a vastly different team. What should be stated is that the A's and the Minnesota Twins are small market teams battling big market foes. What's crazy is that the A's are across the bay from one of the worst teams in baseball, the San Francisco Giants. Yet dispite being horrible, the Giants sell out because Barry Bonds and the contriversies that follow him. Put it simply, the fact that there is even an article like this shows that Nay Sayers are just waiting for something good to falter.
