Cheating Is Killing Sports

Alicia Colon is one of my favorite writers, but I can't agree with her on dumping the Yankees as my favorite team. Like her, my favorite current player is probably Jeter, and I was a big fan of Bernie Williams before he retired (actually, I go back to Micky Mantle as my boyhood hero). Policing steroids in baseball is long overdue, but what bothered me most about her article is the (apparently) prevalent use of steroids among high-school players. I had thought that this particular problem had been taken care of, but apparently I was wrong.

"The Scout" was a neat movie, Brendan Frasier was his typical nutty self, but the ending would have been better if they just "cut to black" just after he release the 0-2 pitch. THAT would have been neat!!
