City Could Get Charter School That Teaches Hebrew

Submitted by Haniel Garibay, Aug 12, 2007 16:51

As a Filipino, government-funded ethnic charter schools have taken my attention. Would it be possible for Filipino-Americans to also establish their own charter schools that give them the opportunity to study their heritage? I believe if we allow tax money to fund Arab and Hebrew charter schools, then it should be across the board, to include all other ethnic groups, without discrimination. Otherwise government should not fund ethnic charter schools at all.
