Iowa just doesn't represent the voters the GOP needs to win in 2008. Iowa agrarians are not the demographic that represents the bulk of voters in 2008.

Florida is a purple state and has a great cross section of voters (Kevin!) including lots of Hispanics. Miami/S Florida is NOT all of Florida, lots of great people in the I-4 corridor, JAX and the panhandle. If a candidate can win Florida they have a message that translates in more areas than an Iowa-centric message, IMHO.

Twenty-five vs. seven electoral votes is what the candidates are looking at, and rightly so.
