Giuliani Warns on PLO State

Submitted by J.T. Russell, Aug 15, 2007 08:09

Mr. Giuliani's frank words (quite in opposition to Geo. Bush and C. Rice's unrealistic optimism) warning to go slow on a new Palestinian state are a welcome sign for a more realistic US foreign policy.

It is a relief to find comments on a thoughful and real strategy coming out of New York City, otherwise not yet known for clear and realstic thinking on our foreign affairs. The latter badly call for better top talent. Madame Rice may be a good COO or operations officer for our foreign policy - to handle day to day affairs; but she has badly failed on long term strategy.

In analyzing Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan and the shake structure called U.N. Rudi Giuliani and his foreign team under Chuck Hill have shown that they are ahead of usual American benevolence and Herbert Hoover style generosity at the expense of the welfare of our own country.

Thank you for publishing such an important article.
