The President of Iran should understand that if Iran develops an atomic bomb, then Iran will be presumed to be the aggressor if an atomic or nuclear devise detonates anywhere within the American sphere of interest, including North America, Europe, Israel and the Persian Gulf. In a world plunged into such chaos and mass death, the legal necessities of determing guilt would be swept aside. The demand for retribution would oblige the US government to respond to such an event with a strategic attack upon Iran, including the use of nuclear weapons. In such a scenario, retribution from the West would not require "proof" of Iran's guilt or proof of the bomb's origin. We would not, for that matter, ponder the guilt or innocence of North Korea, Syria and perhaps others. In such a wounded state, the US or Europe would act on the perceived necessity to eliminate these rogue regimes by extremely blunt, thorough and immediate methods. The sociopaths in Tehran, Damascus and Pyongyang should not expect class action suits and grand jury investigations in the aftermath of so barbarous an act. They must be made to fear, just as we do, in New York City.
