Sonics Owners Fumble Midwest Move
in response to reader comment: Be careful where you spend your $100 million

Chris Van Dyke is a very controversial political activist in the Seattle area. He has personally fought against the Sonics, Mariners, and Seahawks building arenas. He failed with the other two teams as Seattle currently has two of the nicer arenas in the country in Qwest and Safeco Field. The only reason is is seemingly on a winning side right now is the shadiness of the Oklahoma good ol' boys. Other than that, Chris Van Dyke speaks for no one in Seattle other than special interest groups who pay him $3,000 a month to campaign for their personal desires. This guy is a for hire stooge. No offense to him. I just want the good people of the nation reading this informative article by Hollinger not to confuse him with the decent people of Seattle. We don't have a problem paying our fair share for arenas and we most certainly appreciate what the Sonics bring to the city. We just have an issue with the Oklahoma boys swindling us the way they have and not giving us a fair share. Mr. Van Dyke is a paid activist. You all know those types. Don't let him speak on behalf of an entire region. Thanks.
