Council Seeks New Ban on Smoking by Parents in Cars

Submitted by Anastasia, Aug 15, 2007 20:25

Yes, all smoking is disgusting. My partner dropped a marlboro 1-pack a day because after we started living together I began having chronic throat/head/lung problems - even though he only smoked in one car and on our large, wooded verandah - the cause of my ill-health was obvious.

When that damn red & white box stopped showing up on the counter I was feeling great in 3 weeks.

He stopped marlboros cold-turkey, but not smoking.

In those 3 weeks he switched to american spirits - going through the color-coded types - starting with black, ending in bright yellow about a year later.

God, they stink as much and I don't know how I can stand smoker's breath - i make him keep mint & gum companies afloat - but you can take my word for it, there is a cigarette that doesn't hurt bystanders, or, at least, of course, the effects are immensely dissipated.

and no, I don't work for a.s.
