common sense wakes us ALL up eventually.

nyc's gone.

they want it only for the rich and my own father used to rant this continuously from back in the 60s when it was becoming obvious which way this place was going.

HellsKitchen,lower east side,East Harlem --- now all yuppie fantasy grunge years habitats with their price range.,after they "removed" the families that were there for years and even generations. Doesn't seem so bad after this happens to simply get thehellouttahere......and start all over in a nice community,with better schools and living. Jobs will be found and kept and our kids will be able to own homes without striving and stressing the way we had to do this here.

what's the point of trying to exist here when we cannot afford anything the tourists come to experience or others taske for granted ? (opera,ballet,theatre---central park zoo is now how much ? used to be free. museums ? transit fares for an honest family of 7--round trip 28bucks - and then -bloomberg and his congestion crap -please. we're already choked from air pollution ,imagine when they get what they want with all these proposed tolls ?
