Giuliani's New Hard-Line Stance On Immigration Draws Skeptics

Submitted by THOMAS GAFRANCESCO, Aug 16, 2007 10:17

Michael,

I sit here stunned that not only Guiliani but many of the politicians make this issue a political nature when rather it is an issue of common sense. You picked up on this issue immediatley as the towers fell in 911.

The next day we should have had policy changes to protect this wonderful country. Our forefathers gave thier lives in sacrifice for each one of us true Americans and we owe it to ourselves and them. It is absolutly obsurd that these politicians see this debate as political when they all should of been fighting for what is right from the get go !! They now see this as "going for the percentages" in polling so it will help them achieve only votes. If they were so sincere they would have been on this back then as we were.

Bob Dylan once said " there eating chitlins, there eating bagels, there eating pizza" talking about the politicians say what you want to hear so they can better thier own advancement and political aspirations ! I see this as insincere. They are all phonies..Guiliani included.
