Speculation Buzzes on Possible Sale Of Municipal Building in Manhattan

Submitted by charles campbell, Aug 16, 2007 13:13

this is exactly the sort of things the city should be doing, selling off valuable real estate and using the proceeds only for capital improvements long term. As the internet becomes more prevelant, the city can locate many of it's operations in less expensive buildings in the city.

This potential sale is only the tip of the iceberg, many more buildings can be sold or re utilized to save the tax payers billions of dollars, and spearhead new neighborhoods.
