I agree with the content of some of the commentators, and especially with Ephriam. But what of Noah Feldman's main assertions, for example, that a Jew is not bound, morally, to come to the rescue of a gentile?
What were Noah's exact words? What was his source, or alleged source? In Talmud I suppose. And was this source contested, for example, within the pages of the Talmud, or more recently, in the responsa, and how so?
