It's interesting that those of us that take issue with hordes of people entering our country ILLEGALLY are labeled as "know nothings". I suppose you have to be one of the enlightened to to drop the pretense that the law is something to be followed and that adherence to the law is at the foundation of a civilized society. I've not heard any of the so-called "know nothings" advocate for the end to immigration, just the end of ILLEGAL immigration and respect for our naitons's sovereignty. Chiding Mayor Giuliani for his change of position because he is a descendant of immigrants is absurd. Even first generation LEGAL immigrants are opposed to illegal immigration. Being an immigrant doesn't require one to sympathize with people who illegally entered our country. And it's amusing that Mr. Sanger takes the typical lazy LIberal tack of name calling to attack those he disagrees with because the merits of his argument are too weak to argue with the "red state" position. Illegal immigration is an issue that crosses party lines.
