Double Standard Seen Among Terror Critics

Submitted by The Stiletto, Aug 17, 2007 13:38

Isn't it about time someone Ira Stoll or someone else at The Sun looked into allegations that this freelance writer committed journalistic fraud by making up quotes and attributing them to Stern? I would have thought that once the allegations were made, The Sun would have investigated them and either issued a retraction/correction or refuted the charges against the writer. Either you need to protect your reputation or the writer's - and you can't do that unless you face the allegations head-on and find out the truth of the matter.
