"A segment of the right has been trying to paint all illegal immigrants as dangerous, violent criminals for years." Sager is engaging in vague accusations of bigotry. What segment of the right is he talking about? Could it be the unions whose labor is undercut on price? Oh, yeah, that's the left wing. I have dealt with illegal immigrants for many years and find most to be a welcome addition to our country. However, I agree that we must have enforcement of our land borders to start. Does recognizing that illegals who commit violent crimes should be dealt with harshly and not let back in the country make one a xenophobe? The childish name-calling by Sager of those who see things differently should not be tolerated by the editors.
