Running amok, shouldn't be a problem in our civilizations timeframe, but the idea of "creating life" is not only a human problem, but one that will effect the entire chain of life on this planet. I not sure, but it seems someone millions of years ago had the identical idea – and look at what their creation did to the way of life ---- I believe this is catching up with us – and any additional creation will eventually reap the same result. Not a bad idea, only one that will demand more input from just a few "mad" scientists who want to see their name in print or shouted across the airwaves of mass communications.
