Pet-Renting Concept Termed 'Shocking'

Submitted by Jt, Aug 20, 2007 10:47

I think the intention in this concept was good, but the fairness, as well as saftey for all in involved are far from acceptable. As a professional dog trainer I see so many that give it an effort but fail in the training of a dog, simply from lack of consistency. Especially those that have been from a shelter, need stability and clarity. Going from person to person and having each person impose thier own idea of how a dog should be or they want them to be is beyond imaginable in being fair to the dog. I see huge potential for indulgent bad behavior to be encouraged in the dog, just like happens with children who have never been told "No", to anything. The potential for the dog to loose in the long run on this one is high. http://dogtrainingsandiego.com
