Giuliani's Palestinian Policy Opens New Vistas

Submitted by leo solomon, Aug 20, 2007 17:07

Giuliani got it long ago. We can't keep treating the Palestinians like pets or wayward children who are never held responsible for what they do-whose every act of barbarity and venal criminality is blamed ,almost universally ,on the world's favorite scapegoat. America,at least ,can be the one country in the world which stops promoting and financing the fiction that the Palestinians are capable of democratic self government. The one possible solution to the Palestinian,s parlous situation is for a benevolent despot -who is capable of leading his people to abandoning their one aspiration ,the destruction of Israel, upon which they all seem to tenaciously cling -to take control of the runaway disaster.that is the Palestinian entity . Unfortunately there is no such person on the horizon.
