less multicutural education - Reader comments at The New York Sun

NYC needs less multicultural education not more. It is time to stop this senseless accomodation of every group. America is about assimilation. Its worked for 300 years. Less assimilation results in the creation of seperatism; where people only want to be surrounded by people who believe similar things. It goes against the whole melting pot basis of America.

Schools should be taught in English, all these different language schools are a waste of money adn do a disservice to the students. If they want Arabic language only education which only focuses on Arab culture then attend a private school. Isn't that what Catholics and jews did?

As for the point that a certain group only focuses on Islamic terrorism; is there any other kind?
