Bush Will Liken Vietnam, Iraq

Submitted by jams northcott, Aug 22, 2007 02:17

Since Mr. Bush was a NO SHOW at or in Viet Nam how can he honestly say how the results were? I agree we lost the war but we were totally out of our element and before we went to a jungle war, e were taught tactics used to fight in the Civil War. That's just how out of date our government is. They want to rush our men into war, just like they did me and they don't care how they teach you how to fight it to win it.

I have a nephew who is currently i Iraq and guess what? They taught him how to fight a jungle war, as if we were still in Viet Nam. When is this government going to wake up, tell the people like it really is, train the military appropriately and give them the proper equipment to keep them out f harms way. Donald Rumsfield was the sorriest Secretary of Defense this country has ever seen or had.
