It has been seen in this country that certain groups within our democracy only listen to threats to the enviroment when there's a finicial burden to be had. This kind of thinking is very shortsited and what has lead us to this very perdeicement. Wether you belive global warming is real or just natural, a impossable fact to note is that our infa-structer is based on a unsustainable resource. That exact thinking of short term gain is what hased caused this country to be in a position of peril. We must act accordingly to this issue or see our sociaty come to a screaching halt in my and most of your childrens life time.
