Spitzer Argues For Race-Based School Admission

Submitted by Lovesnews, Dec 4, 2006 10:28

How typical that people think we need to force racial integration. Send the kids to the school they should be going to based on where they live - end of story. I would certainly be in someone's office if they wanted to cart my kid across town because they "needed more white people" in order to achieve racial integration.

Why is it there's always someone out there trying their hardest to take something so simple and make it so complicated. Segregation is gone and that is the important part. I think it says a lot about 'racial tensions' , for lack of better term, that we feel we have to force races together instead of letting the chips fall as they may when it comes to our schools.
