I would just like to point out that in one community that I know of, anti-abortion activists did in fact display pictures of mutilated fetuses on billboards and posters around town. The response they got was shocked, because they would show something so gruesome to everyone who happened to walk or drive by. Perhaps every woman who undergoes an abortion, legal or not, should have to see the remains of her fetus, but other people don't need to, especially children who might not even know what an abortion is yet. In addition, many other medical procedures look extremely gruesome, so maybe that's not the best argument against abortion.
