Just let me add one thing. As someone from the former Communist bloc, I observed that one of the major problems with Communism is that it kills initiative. You get a lot of things for free (or so it seems, because in one way or another you actually get to pay for free education and health care), and in exchange your economic rights are limited to the extent that you care to innovate anymore. Without competition, progress dies, as there is really no incentive for being creative. Well, correcting myself, there was a lot of creativity, and still is, when it came down to cheating the system. But that could not be channelled into proper legitimate business. That's what this article is about, and that's Venezuela's future if things don't stop going this way. Soon.
