Fox Is Pushing For Iran War, Senator Says

As a proud Amercian, I see these articles as a counter balance to the unipolar and unbalanced arguments presented in most of our press these days.
Having served in the Gulf for a couple of years, and having dealt with ( and visited) iranians, I find it most disappointing that foreign elements are once again tryiung to use our heroic soldiers to do their fighting for them. Why? Because if you check our history for the past 60 years, you will see that what has been done to the Iranians by everyone else has been far worse than anything they could even contemplate doing to us. I wonder how we would react if we had the countries on either side of us occupied by a country whgich keeps threatening to bomb us, with three nuclear weapon countries (Israel, Pakistan and India) none of whom are allowing inspections of any kind of their facilities, within spitting distance. Add to that the fact that our government is supporting dictators in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and others while telling everyone the fight in Iraq is about democracy, and you make up your own mind. One thing I do know - all these armchair warriors who keep asking for more war couldn't give a damn about more of our young people losing arms, legs or even worse, fighting battles which do not benefit the people of this country in any way, and has clearly made the world even less safe. We should be concetrating on people who have actually hurt our people - Osmama springs to mind - and then get our young people back here where they belong.
