This may come as a shock, but it's been clearly established that smoking is dangerous and addictive. Smoking is one of the top risk factors in deaths from heart attacks, strokes and lung cancer. Children brought up in a smoking environment are more likely to become smokers themselves. About 30% of adolescents smoke. It's tough to quit smoking. Surely you can't mean to put the responsibility for its environment on the shoulders of the child passenger?
