The Fanatics Of Iran, inspired by a malignant superstition twisted from a noble vision of monotheism, have been at war with the United States since the feckless President Carter withdrew legitimacy from the Shah-an-Shah. Whether this divestment was disgraceful or foolish, the emboldened Dervishes have been a blot on History's Parchments ever since. Most recently they have been killing and maiming Troopers of the United States. It is long past time to kill and maim some Iranian Dervishes, Ayatollahs, and their "secular" Politicians. The United States Air Force and Carrier Fleet have recently attained a capability for precision bombing with conventional munitions. Loose that force on the Government Centers of Iran. Leave any productive facilities, such as factories and transportation structures, intact for the use of the people. Bomb the seats of power with the intention of killing as many of the Iraqi politicians-Clerics and Bureaucrats as possible. Avoid religious buildings, unless used as munitions warehouses or centers of governmental control. The tactical objective is to inflict pain on the Iranians who are killing Americans, by teaching them the art of war. The strategy is political decapitation. This application of force must be accompanied by a political message to the Iranian people, whether Azerbaijani, Baluchi, or Aryan, that the American Government will discuss an Iranian petition for an Armistice whenever such a demarche is deemed legitimate and acceptable. Of course, the United States has no territorial or financial demands to be met by the Iranian People. But the present madness must stop.
