Bravo to President Hoffa for his disinvestment in Iran. You indicate the broader labore maovement is not following suit. In this case it may be Brother Hoffa who is following. The AFL-CIO maintains a watch list of countries in which investment is dicouraged (the AFL-CIO has no power to make it mandantory) and many unions including mine have investment policy guide lines that prohibit invesatment in countries on that list. Iran, China, Colombia and numerous other countries with bad human rights or labor rights records are on the list.
