Your Make Our Day Editorial is at best your thoughts!

Let me express mine:

With currently to this email a total of 1,901 ATTACKS on cab drivers World Wide just since Jan 01, 2007 and this just what we know about, sure doesn't make good since to cut down the very hard working first class workers in todays work place! http://www.saveacabbie.com/CabbieAttacks.htm

And with the fact that up to the last update count on Aug 7th, 2007 of 1,632 identified murdered cabbies by the: www.taxi-library.org/murdrate.htm list helps me to back the fact it's not (MAKE OUR DAY) remarks as you have...When in FACT, cab driving is they #1 worse job for on the job safety ,ATTACKS & deaths.

Sad as in any business, a few drivers may not know their cities yet, maybe their new, I don't know but to sum up all drivers is DEAD WRONG. You see, when a cabbie is ask to take a drunk home and don't get back up from the local police who called them, the cabbie's there! (He of cause in many cases never makes it home ALIVE... But who cares about that?

When their a fight at a local bar, and the cabbie is called to drive someone home by local police or other they do it, go the wrong way, I have not a clue...But what I do know is, it's 2:00 am, your asleep and these dirt bags for cabbie your editorial words state, is at best flat out wrong...No one cares that this cabbie is ATTACKED, beating, lucky if he/she get the right to be but into their trunk by the attackers and live to see another day...No...Most never make it back to thier families! But why would you care, you have your loveone in your arm my guess....Sleeping happy as these cabbies weather what ever the hell, the customers which to throw their way...All in the American dream of making the USA $1 to feed their families and pay their bills. I beleive STRONG your REMARKS on cabbie's as a whole is a total insult to the Great of New York and it's being. (And for the record I live in TN, but I enjoy my visits to NY)

Working together less your kind of editorial remarks is why I founded the WWW.SAVEACABBIE.COM world wide media. I really don't want to post all my feelings on your remarks, but I do know this is American, and even them as you put it "dirty vehicles, often reckless drivers who don't know the city, and ignored regulations" HAVE THE RIGHT TO STRIKE, who the hell knows if this will win one way or the other...I don't know... But just today, Mr. Vick the great quarterback got his day in court! We will See in Dec if the system fails all the aminal loves across this WIDE world... Seems maybe your remarks are could sum up that story....He is a true story, your remarks cuts at all hard working cab drivers of all colors and helps in no way to get what is just in the issue...Maybe you and the TLC could take the time to simply sit down with the NYTWA lady, hear the case, not trash them before their day in court, if even that is to come to pass...But I feel strong you will see a STRIKE...I believe you gave them NO CHOICE!

Well that is my thoughts of what I call working to .... "SAVEACABBIE" !
