It's more than money for Apple - Reader comments at The New York Sun

For Apple it's important to prove to the world of telcom and phone makers that there is a new paradigm in the way phones and computer should come together. And the only way to convince these dinosaurs is to demonstrate to them how things work. They have no imagination. And let's face it. Regardless of their short-comings AT&T was the only telcom with the balls and the vision to share what Apple sees. Maybe we should all go back a few months and re-read what everyone else had to say about Apple and the iPhone? So let's get off the high horses and give AT&T credit where it's due. They took a gamble that others were too scared or arrogant to undertake. They were the one with the balls, and they will make it work.
