Funny that the writer omitted Science from the equation ... the largest judgements occur in cases involving Neurological Injury in which the causation is far from clear. The system of compensation then becomes inequitable - one injured child gets compensated yet more with the same net result are not? Perhaps, we as a society need to move from the "flying fickle finger of blame" to the "flying angels of hope" to assist ALL victims of congenital neurological injury?
