The old model of factory schools needs to be revamped. Money should follow the student to pthe school of their choice. There is not a one size fits all way of teaching or learning. Americans need choice based on their own children's needs, talents, values and cultures. School vouchers would return the power of education to the people from the social engineers . All children would benefit.

Until then, parents who can afford to, will use private schools and homeschool when their children are disadvantaged and disrespected as pawns and the property of the liberal elite. I guess New Yorkers had to be reminded again what it is like to have the superior masters in charge of their little selves. Liberals are on the march again.
