Good Samaritan Killed by Drunk Driver in Brooklyn

Submitted by Gabe, Aug 29, 2007 09:25

I have known Alexey (Losha) since he was 12 years old. I was his hockey coach and friend. Alexey was always a guy I would point out to others and say "you should be more like him" He had challenges to deal with, he had every reason to be selfish and withdrawn, but that wasn't his nature. He is caring and compassionate. He willingly gives of his time for others. I have read all of the articles. I even know one of the camera men on the scene, who told me that the look on Alexey's face was one of horror and shock. My heart goes out to the family of the victim of this accident, to Alexey and his parents. In no way do I condone drunk driving, but I agree with Nathan that judgement of Alexey should be left to the authorities and to g-d.
