Concealed Pistols Permits Drop in City
in response to reader comment: Gun Control

Submitted by Jane Weaver, Aug 30, 2007 05:06

The FBI crime statistics for 2005 showed women escape from violent assault only 15% of the time (for men it's 34%). Obviously a firearm is the only reasonable means of self-protection for women, people of short stature, people with disabilities, and the elderly. So Rosie O'Donnell and Jodie Foster can afford armed body guards, but ordinary women are forced to rely on 911, where calls are routinely dropped, and which has been proven to be almost totally ineffective during a violent attack, such as a home invasion, car-jacking, or abduction. It's time for We The People to come together and reclaim our rights from the power elite. Otherwise, the United States as we know it will soon be replaced by something much more sinister.
