One has some level of compassion for Sen. Larry Craig. You see, as a Methodist, he looks to the Methodist clergy for moral guidance. When the Methodist hierarchy declined to de-frock a homosexual minister, Larry must have thought homosexuality was O.K. by his church's standards. What to do? His constituency was firmly rooted in traditional values. He couldn't openly practice homosexuality - thus to assuage his urges, he turned to public "hook ups". Poor Larry Craig!
