We pay taxes to teach our children English - we should not fund Spanish schools , although my granddaughter could not attend public school in Mesa Az, the staff could not even speak enough English for me to register her. Another set of parents put their daughter there where she went from being an A student to a D in a month in a half. Of course , some would say this is only one, but maybe she would have gone on to make some great discoveries.
Our language which I believe should be called American , is a collection of all languages. The idea was a language for all , this is what taxes should fund any schools in another language should be funded by people of those interests just as the Catholic churches have always done. While my daughter was in Guam she was taught their language in their schools.
America can't be everything for everybody, the nation will implode.
Everyone wants everybody else to pay for what they want - they should do what Americans have done for years, find the funding by raising the money for it , don't expect others to pay for your house.
