Rookie of the Year Races Not What Was Expected

Submitted by brandon miera, Sep 5, 2007 12:37

Troy Tulowitzki is the hands down National League rookie of the year. He has 19 homers, 288 avg and a 985 Fielding Percenage at Short (tied only with Omar Visquel). He is the only rookie with those kind of numbers to be the Opening Day starter for his team (a true rookie), not a call up mid season. These numbers are all fine and dandy but Tulo is clutch when it counts. Troy has multiple game winning hits and homers. Tulo is money when it counts and that is something these other rookie just don't have.
