Having recently acquired a Global Positioning System for my vehicle, I have discovered that one of the faults of the system is overlapping names: NY Rt. 32 is also Saratoga Ave, Saratoga St., etc. I just wondered if it is the City's responsibility to update wherever these records are kept, and to ensure that emergency and municipal services, utilities, and many other commercial and private interests get accurate data for fast, sure service? And if so, how much is that record update costing? Are these addresses "postal legal?"
